the biggest problem that the new libstdc++ 2.9 still not 100% standard
c++ compatible. it's still not contain standard header files like
valarray, still not use std namespace...
the most annoying thing that Microsoft C++ 5.0 have contain these for
a years. when one of my friend ask me "linux has a stadard c++ compiler"
I reply of cource (but unfortunately have to recognise still not).
linux use to be the cutting edge, but in this case it's somewhere
at the end of the queue:-((( I assume it's not just technical
question, it 's political too, if a developer who come from MSDS
can't use his "old" programs because of the missing tools...
so my suggestion try to reach at least MS ASAP.

ps. Cristian, is the any _not_ offical deadline for 5.2 ???
