Version of gcc dokumentation?

Hi,
i installed the egcs-1.1 release. If i do an info gcc,
i have to read:

   This manual documents how to run, install and port the GNU compiler,
   as well as its new features and incompatibilities, and how to report
   bugs.  It corresponds to EGCS version 1.0.

(That's in gcc.info-1)

So, is this only a small oversight or is the dokumentation really
not up to date?
