Problems with FORTRAN Compiler

Hi!

I am not a highly experienced programmer and I'm having the following
problem with egcs 1.1b.  I've installed and compiled egcs 1.1b with egcs
1.0.2 on a Redhat 5.1 Linux 2.0.35 system.  Building went fine.  But when
I attempted to compile (i.e., g77 -c mycmatptr.f -o mycmatptr.o) the
attached FORTRAN 77 code the compiler crashed.  However, when I use gcc
2.7.2.3 to compile egcs 1.1b. the attached FORTRAN code compiles just
fine!
