That indicates that you don't have a successful installation of dejagnu.  The
latest dejagnu from the egcs infrastructure directory will work in an
integrated install or a separate installation, on many supported platforms.
I've been using it on Irix6.4 and hpux10.20, but have not been able to get it
working correctly on linux-gnulibc1 or cygwin32.
