-mpentiumpro bug in egcs-1.1b...

I attempted building glibc-2.0.96 with egcs-1.1b with CFLAGS="-O2
-mpentiumpro".  "make check" hung at the linuxthreads tests on ex5.
Building with CFLAGS="-O2" made a glibc-2.0.96 that checked clean.
