Installing egcs 1.1b on slackware 3.5, problem ?

I think, from my experience, that configure will choose to build with libc5 if
both are present.  This may or may not be what you want.  I think this
interferes with the working of gdb, but, otherwise, it's been fine for me.

Did you ever build egcs with make bootstrap?
