Warnings during bootstrap of egcs-1.1b

Known "spurious warnings", anyway.  Eliminating the warnings is trivial
(and done, I think), but don't indicate any problems, and for some
time the issue of whether the warning messages themselves would remain,
and in what form, was open, so I (for one) didn't bother fixing examples
of the warning appearing in g77.
