Suggested rewording of warning message

The message
warning: unsigned value < 0 is always 0

could be mis-interpreted as:
"an unsigned value which is less than zero is always zero",
instead of the intended meaning
"expression (unsigned value < 0) is always zero".

Perhaps someone who is a native speaker of English might think of a
good unambigous replacement message.
