Thanks for patch. It helps a lot.
I've bootstraped and installed compiler
with this patch and it seems to me that all is OK:
test passed OK and boxlib (guthamr-2.0.5.tar.gz
from http://seesar.lbl.gov/ccse/software/software.html to be more exact)
compiled without crash.
