Gives 0 here (egcs-19980502, --enable-{shared,threads,haifa}, libc-2.0.92
(ss 980412), binutils-2.9.1.0.3 on i586-pc-linux-gnu).

BTW, I dismissed 19980425 because the kernel it built crashed on boot.
19980502 built the 2.1.100pre2 I'm now running here.
