Wrong math results w/ Optim. [-O3 -mpentium]

  The errors reported previously, seem to be associated
  with glibc-2.0.6  They are not present when the test
  routine is compiled and run under glibc-2.1(980315)

  gcc-2.7.2.3.f.1 and glibc-2.0.6  also produce
  incorrect results when the test routine is compiled
  with -O2 optimization.
