It looks like you installed a release tree (based on Nov 97) sources over
top of a snapshot tree (based on sources after Feb 14 1998).  There have
of course been changes since Nov 97, so the older install tree for the release
sources, is not the same as the newer install tree for the snapshot.  The
newer snapshot has a few files that the older release doesn't have.

I suspect the differences will be harmless.
