problems building 1.0.2 and 1.0.3a

Dear Egcs,
 
I am trying to build the compiler on a solaris machine.  I have tried both
1.0.2 and 1.0.3a and both a sparc 20 running 2.5.1 and an ultra running
2.6.  On all four configurations I get the same error message.  I looked
in the FAQ and found no mention... I hope it's operator error...
