egcs-cvs just went belly up while bootstrapping.

Machine is a Linux pentium, with run-of-the-mill redhat 5.0,
upgraded to gcc2.8.1
(rpms: gcc-c++-2.8.1-1 gcc-2.8.1-1 gcc-objc-2.8.1-1)

gcc  -DIN_GCC    -g  -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DHAIFA    -I. -I../../egcs/gcc
-I../../egcs/gcc/config \
  -DSTANDARD_STARTFILE_PREFIX=\"/usr/local/egcs/lib/\"
  -DSTANDARD_EXEC_PREFIX=\"/usr/local/egcs/lib/gcc-lib/\"
  -DDEFAULT_TARGET_VERSION=\"egcs-2.91.41\"
  -DDEFAULT_TARGET_MACHINE=\"i586-pc-linux-gnu\"
  -DTOOLDIR_BASE_PREFIX=\"/usr/local/egcs/\" \
    -c `echo ../../egcs/gcc/gcc.c | sed 's,^\./,,'`
	 gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 6

Fortunately, I still have an older egcs binary somewhere, but that might
be inconvenient for some people.
