Funny. I just (at 1998/06/19 10:10:51 MEST) ran my usual egcs-up function:
function egcs-up () {
if [ ! -d CVS ] && [ ! -d egcs ]; then
cvs co ${1+"$@"} egcs
else
find . -name configure.in -o -name '*.y' -o -name '*.gperf' \
-o -name '*parse.in' | sed -e 's,^\./,,' | xargs cvs update ${1+"$@"}
find . -name config.in | sed -e 's,^\./,,' | xargs cvs update ${1+"$@"}
# cvs update -P -d ${1+"$@"}
cvs update -P ${1+"$@"}
fi
echo "EGCS${1+" $@"} updated on host ${HOST} at $(date +'%Y/%m/%d %X %Z')" | tee -a UPDATELOG
}
and it didn't give me any files in the egcs/gcc/f subdirectory :-? I'm
still missing at least these three .j files. Interestingly, there
wasn't any problem with the new float-i386.h file; here is the
relevant output from the last "cvs update -P" command:
cvs server: Updating egcs/gcc/config
U egcs/gcc/config/float-i386.h
cvs server: Updating egcs/gcc/config/1750a
[snip]
P egcs/gcc/cp/typeck.c
cvs server: Updating egcs/gcc/cp/inc
cvs server: Updating egcs/gcc/f
cvs server: Updating egcs/gcc/ginclude
As you can see, nothing in egcs/gcc/f, hence e.g. output.j is still
missing. This is with CVS-1.9.26 on sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1.
What am I doing wrong?
