I'm trying to build egcs on my HP-UX 10.20 Series 700 machine and
failing...

Config.status looks like this:

> more config.status
#!/bin/sh
# This file was generated automatically by configure. Do not edit.
# This directory was configured as follows:
../configure --host=hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20 --with-gnu-as
--prefix=/usr/local/egcs/
 --norecursion
# using "../config/mh-hpux"

I'm using gas, gnumake, etc. but... I've tried adding -mgas to the
makefile, but no luck. I'm using the newest gcc (2.8.1) to compile,
incidentally.

Any thoughts?  Thanks,

Kenn
