Here are the testsuite results for an egcs-prerelease snapshot 
(980225-15h30-MET: gcc version egcs-2.90.24 980208 (egcs-1.0.2 prerelease))

notes:

(--1--) ( http://www.cygnus.com/ml/egcs-bugs/1998-Jan/0199.html ): the testcase 
I sent segfaults instead of giving bogus floating point results.
 
(--2--) ( http://www.cygnus.com/ml/egcs-bugs/1998-Feb/0265.html ) bug is still
present.
