These likely indicate that your assembler is out of date. I believe
the FAQ will point you to a newer version.

These are normal for x86 linux targets.

I ftp-ed the egcs-1.0.1.tar.gz file from egcs.cygnus.com and used
everything found there. I am not too concerned about the Fortran part
for the current project.
I am new to the egcs project. Do I use cvs to do an ftp check-out of
the new assembler, or what?
