HPUX 10.20, error linking large executables

You might try -mbig-switch.

There's an outstanding bug in the switch code where we can still
trigger out of range errors.  It shouldn't be that hard to fix, but
I don't have the time.  If -mbig-switch does not fix your problem
I'm willing to try and walk you through fixing the outstanding bug.
