g77 -O -march=pentiumpro -c slaein.f => f771 dies w/sigabort...

I do not have the compiler-foo to diagnose this well, but numerous
files in the Netlib Lapack distribution do not compile with both
optimization and -march=pentiumpro.  f771 dies on sigabort.  In
[sd]laein.f, f771 dies after reading the lines around label 270.  
If either of those options are removed, it compiles well.  I'd 
suspect this should affect cc1, as well.

I'm using a fairly recent (last Friday or so) CVS grab, no Haifa
scheduler.  I haven't tried this on the normal g77 yet; I'm still 
trying to find a C file that exhibits the same problem.  I ran into
the same problem in the BLAS, but I cannot remember in which file.
