Hi again,
I just wanted to point out that the bug outlined in
my previous message is present also in the very latest
snapshot. The following fragment from [class.access],
point 3, compiles fine, whereas it shouldn't.
class A
{
class B { };
public:
typedef B BB;
};
void f()
{
A::BB x; // ok, typedef name A::BB is public
A::B y; // access error, A::B is private
}
Have a great 1999,
Roberto
