building on decunix

Dear EGCSers,

I'm trying to build egcs 1.1.1 on my decunix4.0b machine. I have
checked out all the code from cvs and have configured it for my
machine.  I starts to build for about 5 minuets before it stops
with this message:

I have GNU gperf 2.7; which I believe to be the latest version. But there seems to be no real option "-F". Has this been noticed before? And is there a quick fix?  Thanks for nay help.
