gcc's object files

Hi,

I've been working a week on trying to create .dll files under NT
using gcc.  The problem arises as I would like to write C++ code
that can be dynamically linked into MATLAB...

Anyways, I figured that my main problem lies in creating and .obj
(rather than .o) file from my C-code.  Is there any solution to
this or have I just lost the battle?
