Hi there,
I think mclock in g77 (v0.5.21 in RedHat 5.2) gets too big, try this
one out,
do i = 1, 100
do j = 1, 2000000
c wast some time
www=111.0**0.4
end do
write(6,*) 'mclock=',mclock()
end do
stop
end
The output in my notebook (Acer 500T) looks like,
mclock= 2380000
mclock= 4750000
... ...
As you can see, mclock will soon gets values more than integer*4 can
take.
Could you tell me a work around ?
Yours,
Weigang
