I don't think this patch will do.  The problem is that the io-related
files were duplicated in libio/iostream.list, that is used to create
libstdc++/piclist.  I found this problem in egcs-970907 just before
downloading 970910, so I didn't check this on the new version yet.
I'll try to build it and produce a patch as soon as possible.
