Contra message: egcs installs just fine in HP-UX 10.20 with gas

Hi, everyone.

I just had to make a symlink from gcc/as to gas/gas/as-new and
voila...

New question arrives: How was I supposed to know this? Or,
equivalently, should the gas-dir in the egcs distribution contain just
the gas-dir in the gas distribution or the main gas distribution
directory itself?

Now I just have to find out why make check fails. Have anyone succeded
with this on HP-UX?
