gdb internal error: Memory corruption

Hi,

I just compiled gdb-4.16 under linux with egcs-970929 without problems.
But look at this:

rwa@goliath:~/t$ ~/RPM/BUILD/gdb-4.16.orig/gdb/gdb 
GDB is free software and you are welcome to distribute copies of it
 under certain conditions; type "show copying" to see the conditions.

gdb internal error: Memory corruption
Quit


This does not happen if I compile gdb with gcc-2.7.2.3. I hope this will
be fixed in the next snapshot.
