[971114] linux-2.0.29 doesn't boot

Hi,

just compiled linux-2.0.29 with pgcc based on egcs-2.90.17p. But this
kernel freezes during boot up (after "Now booting the kernel" the system
halts). Opt-Flags were -O6 -fno-omit-frame-pointer. The latter is
due to a bug in pgcc (Marc, you know... ;).
