Last call for a GFortran "selected GSoC Idea"

Hi,

I have noticed that Paul has updated the Fortran section of our Google
Summer of Code Wiki page[1] so I guess there is an interest in
attracting a GSoC student to work on a Fortran project.  If that is so,
can I ask you to pick one (or two!) of them, extend them a little bit
(see below) and put them into the "Selected Project Ideas for 2019"
section?

Google has reached out to us GCC "org admins" and asked us to update the
idea page so that it follows their guidelines at:
https://google.github.io/gsocguides/mentor/defining-a-project-ideas-list

Let me quote what I believe is the most important bit of the verbose
page.  Apparently, in order to count as a project idea, an entry has to
at least have the following:

  "Each project on the Ideas list should include: a) a project
  title/description b) more detailed description of the project (2-5
  sentences) c) expected outcomes d) skills required/preferred e)
  possible mentors. And if possible, an easy, medium or hard rating of
  each project."

I have tried to change the "selected ideas" so that they have all of the
above so that Google folks like us (and possibly award us more slots
than if they thought we don't care about their guidelines).  I think
that adding a Fortran idea (or two) there two would make it (them) more
interesting for students too.
