Would it be correct for me to interpret the message below as indicating =
that gfortran has reached a state of no-known-bugs with regards to =
supporting allocatable, deferred-lenth character variables?  If so, that =
would certainly be worthy of an announcement on comp.lang.fortran, given =
the number of people there who have expressed interest in this feature.=20=
