Hi all,

this is a ping on the patch for pr60289. I was ask when it will be committed,
but I can't answer that, because I can't remember of having an ok to commit.
Last time Paul tried it, he got some regressions, that Dominique and I could
not replay. Therefore again the questions: Is the patch ok for trunk? 

The patch fixes - in joint work with Janus - the issue on allocating a char
array for an unlimited polymorphic entity. 

The patch is rebased on trunk from today 11:00. It bootstraps and regtests ok
on x86_64-linux-gnu/F20.
