As the issue came up before I committed the patch, GCC 4.10's 
co_sum/co_min/co_max takes as first argument "A=" and doesn't have 
"SOURCE=/RESULT=".

Regarding the progress issue, I have to carefully think about your 
question, to see whether I can give a qualified answer.
