Help needed

[Dean Smith]

I am running gcc-4.4.7 in a linux environment on the University of 
Colorado research computer.
When I enter on the command line:
gfortran -c joem3.F
I get the error message: can't close joem1.o: Input/output error
I have attached the joem3.F code
Can you please tell me what I need to do to overcome this error?
