For basic usage questions, e.g. of combined gcc/gfortran installation, 
gcc-help is probably good.  All of these lists are generally helpful and 
will advise you if your specific question is better answered by another.
You should find the wiki page http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortran useful.
