Requesting gfortran binaries for Linux & Windows

4.7 for Windows is not a tall order given development versions for 
mingw32 have been available for nearly a year.  I actually have been 
working on a build based on the 4.8 trunk, but a small bug has delayed 
that a couple of days.  The 4.7 version available now should serve your 
class just fine, but hopefully the 4.8 build will be available before 
the class starts next week.
