At least that test case failes due to TRANSPOSE: We call 
gfc_conv_expr_descriptor from within that function, before, the outer ss 
was passed to the inner (ie the transposed one). Now one passes
           gfc_conv_expr_descriptor (se, expr->value.function.actual->expr);
which generates a new ss for the argument, which is not transposed.
