I consider PR46896 a major bug. http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=46896 Mostly I think this because it can give wrong results without people realizing it. Admittedly we have not run into this one for a long time, but we need to fix it. Anyone up to it? Jerry
