I fully agree with your congratulations to those who worked on OOP.  As 
I had to explain time and again in the Fortran Standardization 
Committee: In free software, people work on features they find 
worthwile.  This is a great example of such work.  Thanks to Paul, Janus 
and others !

However, I want to remind everyone of the maxim Craig Burley used to 
determine whether to enter a new feature into g77: It's always easier to 
explain that you do not support some feature, than to explain the errors 
if you do not support it fully. (OK, this is paraphrased).
