Hello all,

Mark announced:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2009-03/msg00827.html
> At long last, I have created the GCC 4.4 release branch.

That means that we can slowly check in the patches from
http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortranPatchTracker
However, we should check in one by one and do some regtesting to
not break the 4.5 trunk ;-)

Don't forget to update the news section at
http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortran and - if applicable - also the
Fortran 2008/2009 pages.

I made a start by checking in my -finit-real=snan (signalling NaN)
patch (http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/fortran/2008-11/msg00327.html) as
Rev. 145129.

My plan is to check in all of the -fcheck= patches, namely recursion,
do and Paul's/FX's runtime memory checking. To enable better reverting,
I will check them in separately with some "make, make check" inbetween.
(But not anymore this evening but tomorrow.) I will also check in
my "Warning for loops with zero iteration" patch.

Tobias
