thanks for the speedups!

I have recently installed the latest build of gfortran, v4.4.0  
20081211 and wanted to say thanks for a pretty amazing speedup. One  
piece of code I have now runs in 70s instead of 125s with gfortran v. 
4.2. I have double checked this just to be sure I didn't mess anything  
up as I was astounded. This is on Mac OS/X 10.5.6 on an intel macbook  
pro.

So, thanks a lot for all your hard work!
