subroutine sub() __attribute__((deprecated)) ?

Hi all,

are there any means that would allow the usage of procedure attributes, e.g.

    subroutine sub() __attribute__((deprecated))
    end subroutine

with gfortran? Currently, all I get is a syntax error ...

If not, is there another way to mark procedures as deprecated, so that the 
compiler issues a warning if they are used?
