Compiles?

Thanks for the help.

I'm in the process of downloading and reinstalling, then I plan to
double-check everything.  I'll try all of the suggestions again for
compiling.

I think I did not install gfortran correctly because it "compiled" the
code very quickly (for various options) and didn't report any errors
(even with -Wall); however, when I execute the program it doesn't "do"
anything.
