I agree here, this would truly be a good thing to do! As for my point,
I'd like to continue with the OOP things for 4.5, but I believe both the
array descriptor rewrite (but that's already agreed upon, I take it) and
possibly something in the direction of co-arrays are interesting too.
And if there's time, some thoughts about mpfr-powered arbitrary
precision REAL kinds and the like? That's also something that sounds
simply "interesting" to me, even if it might not be that useful :)
So for short, I would very welcome an IRC meeting! The last two ones
were quite productive, I'd say. And maybe this time some ones of the
user perspective could join us, so we can get an even better plan for 4.5?
