Regarding the front end: Sorry, you need to rediff intrinsic.texi as it 
does not cleanly apply due to my recent texi work.

The testsuite patch is OK.
The front-end patch is OK. (At least I hope that I have not overlooked 
something. If someone has time, he can also go through the lengthy patch 
to cross check.)
