gfortran

	Hi, I've just installed gfortran (4.4.0 20080517) on a Windows XP Pro machine.  Underneath cygwin, I'm trying to compile a VERY simple program (Just a print statement) and gfortran does not do anything:

$ gfortran test.f -o ./test.exe

There is no complaining from gfortran yet test.exe is not generated.  In fact nothing is generated.  Does anyone have any ideas on why this would be?
