Hi.

Does anyone know what is the purpose of the SHARED parameter that can be 
passed when opening a file?

I've found only one page that mention it :

And I've found that this parameter interacts very weirdly with lustre 
filesystem and NFS (so much that I had to remove it to get my code working).
