gfortran nightly builds / i686 nightly build

I have just updated the MacOS Intel build to today's trunk. I am  
willing to enable additional features on this build if someone gives  
me a simple howto: for example, I understand Graphite has been merged  
into trunk, does it improve gfortran's performance a lot? Should I  
build with it, and how?
