I had assumed that these were for 4.5 since they are not regressions.
At the moment all the time that I have for gfortran is going into
array descriptors and Daniel's finalization patch(es).

PR38324 could be done pretty easily but 38319 will be too big and
invasive for 4.4. PR35937 is not assigned to me but it looks as if my
suggestion to FX did the trick, if I understood Dominique correctly.
I could take this on but cannot do anything with it until next week.
Does Dominique want to do the onours?
