Contributing

Hi people,

I've been using gcc & gfortran quite heavily for a year or so, and
reading this list for a couple of months; you _might_ remember me
posting the odd question or PR, but nothing to write home about...
While I am anything but bored at my job (PhD student/RA at the only
*real* university in Bremen/Germany), I've been thinking about
contributing for a while now, with somewhat solid skills in C, Fortran
95 and general code sorcery to throw into the ring.

Now, where do I start? :-)

Ok, seriously: I've had a look at gcc.gnu.org - I understand there is
legal stuff to be sorted and quite a lot of doc and source reading to
be done. That said, please be patient with me: I cannot say for sure
how much time I am going to be spending on gfortran hacking, but at
least I'd like to try and get started.

So, anyone tell me how to get started?
