This is good news, given the number of GAMMA PR. Fortunately, GAMMA is
not only a vendor intrinsic but also planned for Fortran 2008 -
otherwise, I would ask myself whether adding the feature was worth all
the trouble we had so far.

Do you think the wording in the changelog is ok?
